MEGHNAGHAT 400/230 KV AIS SUBSTATION

Power Grid Company of Bangladesh Ltd planed to develop Dhaka-Chittagong Main Power Grid Strengthening Project - 400/230 KV Meghnaghat AIS Substation, in Meghnaghat, Dhaka, Bangladesh. JV of Tokyo Electric Power Services Co Ltd and Nippon Koei Co., Ltd. was the engineering consultancy.

The project mainly covered the work of design, supply, erection, testing & commissioning of 400/230 kV Meghnaghat AIS Substation on turnkey basis.

After the completion of the project, it would evacuate the generated power at Meghnaghat. It was one of the projects located in countries along the Belt and Road Initiative.
