Hatch Barge

A half-decked fishing boat with a hatch or well for catching and storing fish. A cargo-barge with a deck almost entirely made up of hatches; a vessel with hatches that extend fore and aft.

SICHO has one 1200 ton hatch barge with a cargo deck length of 53.6 meters and a width of 9.14 meters, one 850 ton hatch barge with a cargo deck length of 42.7 meters and a width of 9.27 meters, one 750 ton hatch barge with a cargo deck length of 41.8 meters and a width of 8.45 meters, one 575 ton hatch barge with a cargo deck length of 42.7 meters and a width of 6.86 meters, one 600 ton hatch barge with a cargo deck length of 38.1 meters and a width of 7.77 meters, and one 675 ton hatch barge with a cargo deck length of 40.4 meters and a width of 7.65 meters.

A ballast tank and pump are installed on every hatch barge.

Flat Barge

A barge is a vessel with a flat bottom that is used to transport bulk freight along rivers and canals. On a nearby towpath, barges were once hauled by draft horses. Barges have changed over time.

SICHO has four 1100 ton flat barges with a cargo deck length of 47 meters and a width of 14.64 meters, one 1000 ton flat barge with a cargo deck length of 68.29 meters and a width of 10.36 meters, one 800 ton flat barge with a cargo deck length of 44.2 meters and a width of 13.71 meters, and one 500 ton flat barge with a cargo deck length of 41.16 meters and a width of 9.15 meters.

A ballast tank and pump are installed on every flat barge.
